Anna and Maria Ritsch are sisters with independent careers in the fields of photography and audiovisual media. At the beginning of 2020, they decided to start their collaborative project under the name ‘Ritsch Sisters’, working as an artist duo.

Anna and Maria Ritsch are sisters with independent careers in the fields ofphotography and audiovisual media. At the beginning of 2020, they decided to start their collaborative project under the name ‘Ritsch Sisters’, working as an artist duo.
 
Continuing with artistic production through photographic and audiovisual media, they explore the tensions between the physical, the spatial, and the emotional. The duo collaborate internationally, with Maria based in Vienna and Anna based in New York City. This year, the Ritsch Sisters were part of FOAM Talents 2022, a recognition of young artists who are shaping the future of photography.
